Overview

Extraordinary Optical Clarity

The RPD Zenith Straight is built around one core promise: zero visual interference between you and the game. The polycarbonate lens is optically pure from edge to edge.

• Distortion-free sightline across the full 2.75-inch vertical height
• Straight profile minimises refractive edge distortion
• High-transmission polycarbonate for true colour rendering
• Consistent clarity from centre to lateral extremes

Dual-Action Protective Coating

A specially formulated coating bonds to the polycarbonate surface, providing simultaneous anti-fog and scratch-resistant protection tested under prolonged high-intensity conditions.

• Anti-fog chemistry prevents condensation build-up during play
• Scratch-resistant layer guards against stick and puck glancing contacts
• Coating does not yellow or peel under repeated use
• Developed and quality-tested at T3 Sports Bengaluru R&D facility

Alkali RPD Zenith Straight Helmet Visor specifications

Key features

• Polycarbonate Optical Core — The lens is manufactured from premium high-impact polycarbonate, a material chosen for its exceptional impact resistance, low optical distortion, and light weight. At a straight profile, the lens maintains dimensional stability, ensuring the 2.75-inch centre height translates to consistent vision geometry across every session.
• Anti-Fog Surface Chemistry — Fogging occurs when warm, humid air from exertion meets a cool visor surface. The RPD Zenith's anti-fog coating disrupts surface tension, causing moisture to spread into an ultra-thin transparent film rather than forming vision-blocking droplets. This keeps your sightline clear from the first shift to overtime.
• Scratch-Resistant Hard Coat — A micro-hard topcoat is chemically bonded to the polycarbonate substrate, increasing surface hardness without adding brittleness. This guards against the inevitable scratches from stick blades, puck debris, and equipment contact, extending the visor's optical life well beyond uncoated alternatives.
• T3 Bengaluru R&D Engineering — The coating formulation and quality protocols behind the RPD Zenith Straight were developed and validated at T3 Sports' Bengaluru R&D facility. Every batch is tested against defined clarity, adhesion, and durability standards before reaching Indian hockey players.

Alkali RPD Zenith Straight Helmet Visor size guide

Visors are one size. They screw onto the sides of a player helmet, so the question is fit, not size.

How to measure

1. Check that your helmet has the two side screw holes (above the ears) used for visors or cages.
2. Remove the cage, if any, and fit the visor using the same holes.

Alkali RPD Zenith Straight Helmet Visor — frequently asked questions

How tall is the Alkali RPD Zenith Straight Helmet Visor at the centre?

The visor measures exactly 2.75 inches tall at the midpoint. This provides a generous, unobstructed sightline while keeping the overall profile low enough for aerodynamic comfort during play.

Does the anti-fog coating actually work during intense play?

Yes. The coating uses a hydrophilic surface chemistry that spreads moisture into an invisible film rather than allowing condensation droplets to form. It performs under sustained high-exertion conditions typical of competitive hockey sessions.

Will the coating scratch off with regular cleaning?

The scratch-resistant hard coat is chemically bonded to the polycarbonate surface, not a removable film. Use a soft microfibre cloth with water or a lens-safe spray cleaner — avoid abrasive cloths, paper towels, or solvent-based cleaners to maintain coating integrity.

Is hardware included, or do I need to buy it separately?

All mounting hardware required for installation is included in the box. You do not need to purchase any additional screws, clips, or brackets.

Which helmets is the RPD Zenith compatible with?

The visor is compatible with most certified hockey helmets that feature a standard straight visor mounting channel. This covers the majority of senior and intermediate certified helmet models from leading brands. We recommend verifying your helmet's channel type before purchase.

Can I use this visor for both ice hockey and inline hockey?

Yes. The RPD Zenith Straight is suitable for both ice hockey and inline/roller hockey applications, provided your helmet is certified for your format of play.

Is the visor anti-UV as well?

Polycarbonate naturally blocks most UV radiation. The RPD Zenith's lens provides inherent UV protection as part of the material's properties, though it is not marketed or tested as a dedicated outdoor UV sports lens.

Where was the RPD Zenith developed?

The coating technology and quality standards for the RPD Zenith were developed at T3 Sports' Bengaluru R&D facility, ensuring the product is engineered to meet the demands of Indian hockey players and climatic conditions.

What is the price of the Alkali RPD Zenith Straight Helmet Visor?

Prices are shared on request — message us on WhatsApp (+91 91112 22274) for today’s price and stock, usually answered the same day.

Can I tint or apply an additional coating to the visor surface?

T3 Sports does not recommend applying any aftermarket tints, sprays, or coatings on top of the existing factory treatment. Doing so may compromise the anti-fog performance and could void any quality guarantees associated with the product.
